Job Description: Key Responsibilities Liaise with customers (stores, head office), suppliers (metiers) and transport companies Plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods: receipt, unpacking, controlling, pricing, labelling, storage, picking, repacking, dispatch of goods Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met Have a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these Keep stock control systems (Cegid) up to date and make sure inventories are accurate Plan future capacity requirements Organise the recruitment and training of the staff (2 warehouse assistants currently), as well as monitoring staff performance and progress Motivate, organise and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc) Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment Oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures following Group requirements Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation and Group requirements Prepare annual budget Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided Control archiving GB sent to the Warehouse. Manage Press stock room equipment storage within H&S guidelines. Support the activities of 1 or 2 staff sales and 1 or 2 customer sales every year - including planning and organising of each sale.
